Just as I have mentioned in my previous trip report (With Virgin America from West Coast to East Coast), I have scheduled my return trip to San Diego with JetBlue from Boston. The reason why I selected to fly out of Boston Airport, rather than New York airports, was a simple fact that the flights out of Boston were the cheapest options. Overall, I would save about 50USD by flying out of Boston. I would still have to take a Megabus from New York to Boston, but I scheduled myself to take the red-eye bus trip for only 5USD. I would be arriving in Boston South Station at around 3:30AM, giving me plenty of time to catch the San Diego-bound flight at 7AM.
BOS Terminal C Interior at 5:30AM in the morning.
This terminal is pretty much dominated by JetBlue.
The walkway to the gates next to the JetBlue check-in counters.
Post-Security
My gate for this morning's flight: Gate 29.
The A320-200 that would take me across the continent.
JetBlue's comfy leather seats.
I would take B6's leather seats over any other seats.
Unfortunately, no place for me to charge my phone during the flight.
Push-back
After about 4 hours of napping, I woke up somewhere above Colorado.
I requested some Terra Blue Chips and Diet Coke.
Passing over Arizona.
The Salton Sea.
Passing over Highway 86, on which I have driven many times.
Interstate 8 is visible far away.
It was a cloudy day in San Diego.
The Naval Base.
Coronado Bridge.
Approach into San Diego Airport is always an exciting one!
Touchdown.
That's a Hawaiian HA 15 bound for Honolulu. It's been an year already since I've hopped on that flight to Hawaii (http://flightsinsider.blogspot.com/2014/05/to-korea-with-hawaiian-airlines_13.html)
San Diego trolley blue line.
Overall, JetBlue provided a nice comfy ride back from east coast to west coast. I couldn't take much advantage of the entertainment system due to the fact that I was asleep for most of the flight, but at least I was ready to start another day in San Diego without feeling tired for the whole day.
Thank you for reading my trip report!
