Aboard JAL's B747
 [Japan Airlines] JL 10 NRT-ORD (Tokyo/Narita->Chicago/O'Hare) trip report

JL 10 NRT-ORD (Tokyo/Narita->Chicago/O'Hare)
DEP NRT 11:10 18 SEP 2009
ARR ORD 07:55 18 SEP 2009
Flight Duration: 11:45
Aircraft: B747-400
After a two month long stay in Korea, it was time for me to return to Chicago. The return flight was same route as the route I took to get to Korea from Chicago.  It was through Japan Airlines, with an hour long stopover in Tokyo/Narita.  I took JL 960 (B747-400) from Seoul/Incheon to Tokyo/Narita in the morning of 18 SEP 2009.  I did not take any pictures for this flight unfortunately.  I did start taking pictures for the JL 10 flight, a 11:45-hour long flight from Tokyo/Narita to Chicago.

My plane, JL 10 bound for Chicago with special "Yokoso Japan" sticker

To the right of me was a Malaysian Airlines airplane that is probably bound for Kuala Lumpur.

Starting to serve lunch after takeoff.

For lunch I chose the pasta. It was quite tasty but contained no meat.

Crossing over the Pacific nearing Washington State.

Since the sun was down for most of the flight, there was no need to shut the windows.

Crossing to the north of Seattle.

The breakfast came out around the time we were flying over South Dakota. I took the egg omulette with Sausage and Tomatoes

The inflight scene after breakfast.

I walked around to check out other parts of the plane and stretch.

My seat was right next to the man in the orange shirt.

The morning sun was rising near Iowa state.

 That's Chicago downtown down there!

Thank you for reading my trip report!
